justone- Well it might be a good idea from a stock market valuation point(tracking stocks of ATT), but it certainly wasn't in the cards originally. It's a shame because IMVHO, Armstrong got sideswiped by the forced access issues and the maximun 30% ownership rules. Both put a big damper on his plans and allowed the media to slam ATT at every corner. BUT as you say, as long as it's a single bill, it still has value from a consumer viewpoint. It still may fly. Just too bad all these games have to be played to reach Armstong's ultimate vision. Without him, I still feel there would be little to no broadband rollouts today. Only talk which had been going on for about eight years previous to his bold plans. -MikeM(From Florida)
