Really, I do not need to snap Full months because my software retains old contracts indefinitely if I choose to do so.

I do not know if I would bother saving the Currency Patterns. The SP is detailed and designed for day trading. Plus I can link to old charts through the database. At the moment, the database is undergoing a major design change.....using the old one as the new one is under construction and all that takes time as well.

Anyway, I tend to posi trade the Currencies as well as the Bond so although gap data may be helpful in terms of quick trades or exiting trades it would not be a style that I'm using now. Plus it would take a few years of data before I could rely on the information and I'm not about to go back and build it retroactively.
