Paul,

>>>> The problem with The Analyst Game is that they have to sell their firms' financial services to the companies they cover. That makes them very close to the companies they cover, because no analyst can afford to get frozen out,...<<<<<

I and many are fully aware of that, as you are. Doesnt make them good according to my criteria. And for me, my criteria is all that counts. Others will their own criteria.

I would like to see those analysts personal accounts, which of course we never will. I bet you MARY MEEKER protecter herself somehow near the top. Im not saying that she sold her whole portfolio, just protected herself in some manner and she was pounding the table for others to buy. In the simple principle of ethics, isnt that bordering on lying.

Of course our society is more concerned on materialism than ethics, so I guess lying is OK as long as they make money for someone. Hey, if the economy was in a bear market at the time of the CLINTON IMPEACHMENT, I would say the probability of him being kicked out of office would be high. But since the economy was OK, his lying was accepted to some degree since he still kept his office. Simply put if his LYING was completely not accepted, he would have been ousted.
