Ok, I thought it had to be one or the other. Outboards are much easier for late season jump and go. Even in inboards with closed cooling, the heat exchanger must be drained. It's one of the reasons I keep a small outboard in addition, is the simplicity of being able to jump in and go without dealing with all the other boats umbilical cords. Well hope you have some good fishing. The weather this week, here anyway, was called to be in the 60s with a fair amount of sun. Take care if you'll be on Lake Erie, shallow lakes kick up fast. (Sorry, it's a habit from 15 yrs in the USCG Aux) It's the kind of volunteer work only Dems are capable of but thought I'd give it a try. JFH
