Thank you, "I Am John Galt!"

... I really want to read the book again ... it's been more than 20 years. Objectivity is a cool thing, IMO, as difficult [impossible(?)] as it is to achieve or even approach.

Wow, love the John Galt education here!

Ayn Rand/Greenspan? Fascinating. Thx, Rose!

Hey, "I Am John Galt:"

You say, "John's even worse than a man with all the answers."

Do you mean, "worse off?"

He was cursed, I would say, with the gift of objectivity in a world populated with those obsessed with subjectivity as a means of social survival ... surprised he didn't shoot himself with his ability to discern the absurdity of his environment and those within it ...

<g>

I'm going to one of the Goodwill Industries stores around here tomorrow morning to buy "Atlas Shrugged" for 50 or 75 cents ... gotta read it again right now.

Like you, robwin, I read in my early college years ... had a hell of an impact on me. Hope the book/concepts are still popular, and ageless, don't you?

How about "The Fountainhead?" I haven't read it -- anybody else?

Will pick it up, too.
