I seem to remember a year (sometime in the mid 80's - Boomer was still a young pup) when the Bengals were 11-5 and missed the dance as well. The 91 season was interesting. Philly and the Niners both missed the dance but were probably playing the best ball towards the end of the season. That was the year Randall went down in the opener at Milwaukee (vs. GB) and the Eagles ended up using a total of 5 different QB's including Pat Ryan (fresh from a Construction site), Jeff Kemp, & Jim McMahon
