Jim, I think it's a mark of honor to be called a liar here by the Rambus flacks. Not as big an honor as being told that the Rambus lawyers have been informed, though. Only an elite few have reached that stage. Cheers, Dan.

Jim, <I was branded a liar...> The problem with this guys is fairly simple. This is not an unknown behavior of people when they tend to reflect their own mind-set onto others. They think in the following way, e.g.: "I've risked all my savings for prosperity of my family by speculating with this stock, and I righfully have to do anything in my power to recover the failing investment and protect my family, no matter what, stretching available information beyond reasons, or presenting opinions of others as facts. The market is a faceless mess of fools, and they deserve to be parted from their money, so there is nothing wrong with my approach. The other guys, who block my efforts to protect my family, are most likely in the same situation as myself, just at the opposite side of the market, therefore they are liars too." Or something similar to that. In a situation like that, no logic or interpretation of scarce information will get through their disturbed minds. So, nothing is new under the Sun. Regards, - Ali
