hey guys,

stock options granted to employees are always dilutive even prior to getting exercised. The reason is that below the net income figure on the financial statements, the company must report Fully Dilute EPS. This figure accounts for EPS as if stock WERE ALREADY exercised.

So even though, Cisco doesn't report the effect of stock options above the net income line, it does show up below the line. That is why Parish and his merry bands of misdirectionists are overhyping all this options crap. It DOES get reported, if you know where to look for it.
