Hi Steve,

I don't believe now is the time to buy. I would rather miss the bottom than buy too early and see some more red in my portfolio. The chart does look really awful with no end in sight. I think there are several things working against the company...It's a small company and investors are not interested in smaller companies at the moment....Fiber Optics sector has been hit pretty badly lately and is also not in favor with investors.... They recently reported and are not profitable yet. The build-out in fiber optics space is very expensive and NOPT is still working on their build-out so losses increased along with revenues. Right now investors are not rewarding very many companies with losses versus profits.... So basically I think the stock is way out of favor at the moment for all those reasons. Here are the options as I see them:

1. Buy and try to catch the bottom...very hard to do
2. Buy and hold for 3 to 5 years
3. Wait till sentiment AND chart clearly reverses and pay a little more for the uptrend.

I don't know when I will buy yet. Guess it depends on how cheap it gets. But I'm not buying just now. Hope this helps and as always - it's just my opinion.
