American Spirit: It is a long way to the election. The race is virtually even. Gore, in fact, has really come alive on the stump since the last debate. Bush, since he hasn't been traveling with Cheney, has often forgotten what to say during his speeches. It's been embarrassing. The right-wing media covers all of this up. Polls no longer matter for either side. I believe people are just watching the candidates, and those who support them, and why. IMO, Gore would be better served by having Clinton go to NY to support Hillary. If NY'ers can't see through all the fog, pity them.
