Is John Loose(GLW President and COO) looking at LU in a potential way? CNBS Interview appeared on RBull. -Nat I have highlighted the interesting part. GLW COO on CNBC- CNBC- SQUAWK BOX CORNING (GLW) PRESIDENT AND COO JOHN LOOSE ON THE COMPANY'S Q3 EARNINGS OCTOBER 23, 2000 SUMMARY: Loose says demand is tremendous across-the-board. He sees Corning's (GLW) earnings growth for this year at 70%. He says GLW is increasing capacity to keep up with demand. Tyler: Fiber optics maker Corning reported its third quarter earnings of 35 cents a share, beating analyst expectations by a penny. Revenue was up 54% and net income rose 114%. Joining us now is John Loose, president and COO of Corning. He joins us live from the New York Stock Exchange. Good to have you with us. Good morning. Tyler: Very nice quarter. Can you keep up the kind of revenue growth, 54%, actually year over year? .... blah blah.... .... .... Tyler: One major competitor has been Lucent.
