Well- let me start with what I see as someone in elementary school watching small children, with an special eye tuned in to non-verbal behavior.

Chair tipping- among the boys- a sort of macho dance of testing authority, you are "good" if you don't fall over- the more times the teacher corrects you the better you are.

Annoying pencil tapping- a "good" thing with your peers- even better if the teacher tells you not to and you still do it- for then you are a tiny James Dean.

Wandering the room knocking into people- if you do this in a purposeful way, and can be seen by the other children to be intentionally knocking into people, though cleverly concealing this fact from the adults who might be around, then you are "good"- if you are just clumsy and knock into people accidentally, your status goes down, and you are bad.

I can give you more- I am seeing so much of this minutiae.
