Party: Actually, if you take a serious look at the controlling interests, media conglomerates are largely in the hands of right-wingers or corporate conglomerates. With the former, the political agenda is upfront and clear; with the latter, it's veiled. But the result in either case can hardly be called "liberal." As far as Gore-Bush coverage is concerned, it is simply easier to report Gore "lies" than Bush "lies." Journalists, as a whole, are generally lazy and don't want to stand out from the pack.
