What percentage of the Republican donations were made by mid-level managers who were strong-armed by management into donating, against their will?

If you're going to play the union dues check-off game, pal, then extend it to corporate strong-arm giving. Also, if I own stock in a company, I want to vote whether donations representing my share of the company can be used for political purposes.

Fact: Big-business donates 11 dollars for political causes for every 1 dollar that organized labor donates. But, by Gawd, ain't it terrible that union donations support Democratic candidates!! Jeeze, we really need to put a stop to this!!

>>>Flapjack: What percentage of the Republican coffers came from big business, and what percentage of the Democratic coffers came from big business?<<<

>>>Shadow: What percentage of the Democratic coffers came from union members whose dues were taken by force and given to the Democrats against their will???<<<

Flapjack asked a good question which you didn't answer. Regarding your question, there's a few things to consider.

First of all, Big Business contributions make Union contributions quite small. There's no way the sole Union contribution could ever match that of Big Business. And you should know this.

Secondly, unions are accepted worldwide--not only in America. And within these organizations are rules and regulations governing membership. History has shown unions have brought much to the common good of the working man and woman. But, hey, you don't like the union job? You don't like the Army? Well, get a non-union job or join the Navy. What's the difference?

Third, like we elected members to Congress so do unions elect their respective leaderships. And as much as a member of Congress may not vote the way a citizen would prefer; so also an elected member of a union.

Finally, your complaint is ad hominum. Please answer FlapJack's question.
