SI disguise themselves as a website that welcomes advertising by charging an amount of money very similar to what you would get out of true advertising (in terms of leads), to create a thread.

To disguise themselves even better, they accept some people (not me) to include links in their messages. They just didn't like my posts, so they got rid of them, claiming that I was disguising advertising.

I think if I have disguised my identity as someone not connected to my company, and posting messages linking to my company, nothing would have happened (ortherwise tons of other messages that just happen to include links would be deleted).

For your information, there are web sites that do not accept links or html code at all and clearly state it. Maybe SI could do the same.
