ML(Joe Osha) pounded the table for NSM last month saying......our own checks and comments from the company tend to confirm an upbeat picture especially int he catalog analog and wireless end markets.Bookings were accelerating at the end of the quarter and NSM indicated that it sees improved demand from the wireless end market as it comes into the autumn.NSM's comments support our own contention that the worst news in that end market is behind us.The August Qtr numbers were excellent.....for the November Qtr,all our checks suggest that the analog business should be improving through the Qtr and we regard our current $685MM revenue estimate as conservative.Valuation seems unreasonable low at 15xFY2001 earnings and 14.7xFY 2002 semms unreasonably low.NSM should benefit from more upbeat expectations for wireless.....so,Joe,what went wrong??
