At 10:40 or so everything rolled over. SPX got to its Sep 1 downtrend line and COMPX got back to the MAY low that rejected it on Friday.

Smelly was rolling beautifully, at a place where one could reasonably expect it to do so. (If you check the file I posted this weekend you will see a dotted line at the bottom of the flag -- this is where it bounced:

Anyway, I got short but somehow did not watch the bigger picture and ended up flat on the day. Ridiculous. I got out of the first trade 'cause I had planned on going for lunch, then spent the rest of the day chasing it for a few points here and there. Ridiculous. Should have gone golfing.

SPX still under Sep 1 trendline. I think we head down soon and, as I said this morning, I will reconsider if we can take out SPX 1420 with a little conviction.
