I think in the future we'll all use somebody else's server for most of our archiving. Alot more reliable than a PC hard drive or a zip disk. We can presume our trusted e-commerce providers in the future will know everything there is to know about our transactions anyway, so why not entrust them with our seldom used archives. As for MOBI, who's to say Bluegill wasn't working on alot of the same stuff when CKFR bought them? As to what's in it (presentment) for the consumer I expect bills will become portals to the company presenting them, links to answer queries, get to details, view special offers,receive highly targeted marketing customized for me, etc.
