To jim kelley; If you knew how fundamental a thing "die size" is to the memory industry, you would understand. But you're a mom and pop type. Here's a clue. Take a look at those RIMM prices. Notice that they're more expensive than DIMM? Wonder why? Die size is probably about half the difference.
