MI,

OK boyz i think we have beat that subject to death. The stock is thin. I would love to sit on the bid at $40 but am stuffed to the gills. Somebody else has to make sure we dont print in the $30's again. Pretty please?

When the CFO was in New York in early September he hoped that the component shortages that cost us a penny or so of EPS in the June quarter should ease by Thanksgiving. Looks like they are backing off that guidance a bit but it should eventually run its course. There was a whole lot of double and triple ordering going on a while back.

The top line in the Sept quarter was a nice surprise given that they guided down during the June Q conference call. These guys are anything but promotional. They are almost too cautious.

I am hanging my hat on the R&D spending going forward. They seem to think that by stepping it up they will eventually witness revenue acceleration, with the corresponding benefits to earnings. This is more of a 3-to-five year scenario than a next quarter thing though. Patience boyz. If this is the case the stock will likely maintain the current valuation and we might eventually get a little multiple expansion.

Of course management is rock solid although there seems to be a bit of a cult starting to form around the honorable Dr. T. Still, I am drinking his Kool-Aid.
