"As the Icons Fall ..."

Hey Clappy ... have you seen the Walmart TV commercials for ad campaign (this goes back a year or more, fer sure) ... theme was falling prices ... video flip-chart style shots of price tags being slashed ... audio ... Patsy Cline ... "I Fall to Pieces" ... with sound bites of glass crashing/breaking?

LOL ... reading the new Voltaire's Porch board just now, I was struck with that vivid image ...

Damn ... now my little mind will replay the cassette tape (or CD <g>) over and over.

Maybe for DAYS.

I hate it when that happens.

It's such a curse to be creative, yes?

Clappy

Forgive me, but I just now noticed your post to Polvie and since you referred to me, I thought I'd reply.

You should know, that for a man like Tom to "hurt" me would require that I hold him in even the slightest esteem. Rest assured John, that is not the case. As I recounted to Dusty, I was not making a joke. Far from it. Thinking about Tom in any time frame is non-existent for me and were it not for this riddle which I happened upon, he would not have entered my conscience. But having said that, perhaps I agree with you, in that, it (he) is a joke after all.

Aside from that Clappy, you can hang whatever signs make you happy. I really don't give a damn.
