I hate to say nice things about Microsoft, but the plug and play features in each generation of Windows keep getting better.

To run a second monitor, get a cheap PCI video card and stick it in your PC. Attach the monitor. Boot Windows and let it find the new monitor. Go to Settings and tick a box that says Extend Windows Desktop To This Monitor.

Then to move a window to the other monitor, reduce it from full size and just drag it in the direction of your other monitor (which you specify in Settings). And it shows up there.

Your mouse jumps easily from monitor to monitor.

I expected a glitch somewhere along the line and didn't find one. I am using the second monitor for Pulse and Briefing In Play.

SSTI upgraded with a $50 price target. Watched Briefing auto-refresh while I was typing this.

Tres cool.
