Thanks, Gary.

MRVC's roadshow starts tomorrow for LMNE, earnings are Monday after the bell, and the LMNE IPO should begin trading next week - the first of 12 planned IPOs. LMNE is a "clean" play on fiber optic components ala JDSU with $120 million in 2000 revenue. They announced the second IPO on 10/6 - Optical Access, a free space optics company, ala Terabeam. This should probably trade by January. They may announce the 3rd IPO in the CC on Monday (possibly iTouch). Charlotte's Web should IPO in Q2 or Q3 2001, and Zaffire soon too.

All those will drive the MRVC price. MRVC will hold 144 million shares of LMNE after IPO of 12 million shares. Since MRVC has about 72 million of it's own shares outstanding, each dollar of LMNE price translates to $2 per MRVC share in LMNE value held. MRVC announced they will spin off the LMNE shares to shareholders within 6 months after IPO.

I'm hearing the LMNE IPO is way oversubscribed due to high interest.

Anyway you slice it, the next few months are going to be interesting for MRVC.

FWIW, I completely agree with your assessments of both companies, OG. I know some people at Netro... and there are friends of friends at Zaffire. I'm not too impressed with any of the people that I've heard are there.
