Hi Steve. As traders, regret is our fundamental enemy -- capacity for regret is the most important trait that separates good traders from bad traders. It lies at the heart of all obsessive compulsive disorders, especially gambling addiction, the disease of bad traders. Joey Anuff made this point in Dumb Money. His conclusion: Good traders don't need to win to be happy; they enjoy trading. But as a result, they are generally successful because they don't have the capacity to allow fear and greed to force them into bad trades, lack of asset diversification, etc.

(BTW, I've been getting burned the past couple of weeks too because of simple mistakes and not working diligently enough during trading hours, so I'm definitely with you-- no stomach acid, though, except what's required for digestion.)

(Tongue in cheek). Taking you off of suicide watch. In general, with disappointments in the semiconductors and now the optics sector, I don't think they will be buying the dip. Wish I had held onto my QQQs.
