Yes, and they did it 'the old fashioned way'... they had 'X' earnings from 'Y' expenses! Of course by the time BLS got done with their numbers and released them it looked much better.

How much of GE's profits or productivity come from GE capital?

Think for a moment what 5 - 6% productivity gains a year extrapolated for even 7 years amounts to ... 40% to 50% productivity increase ... do you really think that is possible?

If they are doing that year after year -- they are simply as good as the BLS at spinning BS ...
