Petz, it's not clear that Quake III will be a big win for the P4 either. The other set of leaks that JC claims to have gotten confirmation on recently, at jc-news.com, show QIII coming in closer to the SpecInt results than the specfp results. Relative to the 1ghz cumine: Quake III P4-1.40: 1.21 P4-1.50: 1.23 On the other hand, Anand's last Athlon review showed the gigamine relatively strong on QIII, with the 1.2 ghz Athlon beating the gigamine by 9.5 %, so that one may be nip and tuck with AMD's best contemporaneous competitive offering.
