when i talk about gaps..i mean if your holding a stock over night, and you get a nice gap up open..i always sell into that gap and take profit..because , yes your right..they always retreat back to that opening price...

most of the time, that is......if the stock gaps up, and does not fill the gap, and reverses back up again, and takes out the high of the day..i'll by that breakout...

on gaps down...i love to wait for the natural reversal from a slam, that almost always comes...and of course if the stock fills the gap back up here..your in the trade with a good risk reward stop in place...

i will show you that one morning right here...
