Lil, I'm looking at the SOX daily chart on an intraday basis. Currently it looks like NSM is causing a blip in a potential new up trend. The buy alert is holding but it appears any early buy or buy signal will be delayed at this point. The best chance of catching a long up trend is to enter when DOW, NAZ and index are all giving buy signals along with the individual stock. IMHO the market is trending in that direction. It's just a matter of which stocks are going to rise and which are going to be left behind. Appears NSM is staying behind on this trip up. NW

Semiconductors Drag Market New York, (123Jump via COMTEX) -- Stocks fell back from their seion highs in late afternoon trading. The Dow retreated from its 100-point plus gain. The Nasdaq gave up all its gains and went into negative territory. Financials and telecommunications iues held the market up, but semiconductors worked against it.
