DDS is founded, as it turns out, on the fundamental T1/DS1 format and its subrate derivatives. As does ISDN. I think that poster noj might be referring to something more obscure, something that probably was trialed during that era, but I just can't put my finger on it.

I'll bet the service in question has a mention in my Dixon Doll text which was written in 1978 ...
