Jim, Re: Anyone notice 1.2 Athlon prices ae creeping UP?

Looks like supply has dried up somewhat (last time I checked there were more Pricewatch vendors advertising it and it's still not available in Germany). I could imagine that demand for 1.1 and 1.2 GHz is rather week right now -- 1.0 GHz is the "magical number" everyone wants but most peoples aren't willing to spend more money for marginal more performance. This would also explain why there are 7 pages of 1.0 GHz Athlon on Pricewatch but only 2 pages of 1.1 GHz. Hopefully the P4 launch will create more demand for the >1.0 GHz parts.

Edit: I have to admit that my theory doesn't make much sense concerning the price rise.
