S3 sees $400 mln in revenue in 2001
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct 26 (Reuters) - Computer products maker S3 Inc. (NasdaqNM:SIII - news) said on Thursday it expects to generate about $400 million in revenues in its fiscal year 2001.

The figure represents a growth rate of about 150 percent on a year-over-year basis.

Santa Clara, Calif.-based S3 also said it expects to commit about 6 percent to 8 percent of revenues for research and development, and about 18 percent to 20 percent for sales, marketing and administrative expenses.
