Momentum investing means to me that one buys rising prices not falling prices.

As I have derivative positions I have no problem to stick with it thorugh earnings.

If memory serves me well these pre-earnings sellouts tell us something (which becomes sometimes the essence of a class action lawsuit later). I have seen this very often this year.

It is always possible that the stock bounces a bit as it lost 11 points in 2 days.
