JD Why would Tech Data tell you anything? It appears that the inventory of Boxed mother boards may be in the hands of the distributors now judging from the pricelists. I would not expect the boxed solutions to take priority over the chips during the launch Re: "P4 will not really ramp until 2001 since Intel has not wavered from those projections 1 iota" Otellini said that the ramp on the P4 would be the fastest ever and they are not waiting till Q1 for the ramp. Listen to the conference call. He said that they had no shortage of fab capacity for the launch not do they have any difficulty producing the chips and chipsets in the quantities they need on the .18 process. Check it out. :)
