I think that the good ole days of the Usenet was when the National Anthem was being sung....or maybe that was just when the people were finding their parking spot....

Hi Frank,

We'll know the Internet is approaching a mature iterative build when it is used to amplify Tony Bennett's premise that the national anthem ought to be "America the Beautiful" and replace that hideous paean to a totally forgettable minor war. At the risk of seeming rude, I think it's nickname ought to be the "Star Strangled Boner". Or, here's a universal suggestion from a regional left-coaster, why not "Appalachian Spring"? It's a beautiful piece of Americana.
