Bruce, I agree. Although I tend to believe it will take a little time for the news to sink in and it’s impact to be felt. In the meantime I will continue my long stance in PRAV in that I have to think there is much more to come.

Regards,

Bill

The Patent: PRAV’s Patent is a broad-based wireless location patent that covers the apparatus and method of transmitting position information from satellite navigational signals (such as GPS) over cellular systems to a base unit and displaying the location of a person or object so equipped. Paradigm now owns all rights to the patented system, outside of criminal justice applications (mainly involving the monitoring of parolees). The patent was granted in 1991 covering four claims and was challenged and re-examined in 1994. As a result of this re-examination (US # B1 5,043,736) the patent was upheld and the number of claims was expanded to include four apparatus claims and two method claims.

``We are now free to aggressively expand our licensing program to contact and negotiate with prospective licensees in the exploding global L-Commerce market,'' says Paradigm's President/CEO Eduardo Guendelman. ``We are currently in discussions with several GPS-based location service providers to license the right to use the GPS-cellular technology covered in our patent. This technology is rapidly becoming the global standard for location methodology in the transportation industry, as well as for locating people and monitoring valuable assets.''

Assuming all investors know about this, why did I bring this up?

Because of the assertion by Xypoint in the following white paper:

MOBILE DATA GROWTH POTENTIAL

“By 2003, analysts estimate more than 1 billion (1,000,000,000) wireless subscribers and an additional 1 billion (1,000,000,000) wireless Internet devices. Desktop Internet devices are estimated at 625,000,000 (million). Xypoint is perfectly positioned to capitalize on all of these technology explosions.”
Link to that report: xypoint.com

If my math is correct, this adds up to 2,625,000,000 devices with the potential of being licensed. Who really knows how many PRAV will actually be licensing. If only 80%, 50%, 30% or even only 10%, just think of the numbers.

No this will not happen tomorrow, but it is going to happen, at least in my opinion. For those who are invested now and willing to stick it out, what will the possible rewards be in the years to come? Just my ramblings!

Regards,

Bill
