I'd be surprised if their isn't a significant terrorist attack on an American target between now and the elections (and not necessarily in the middle East).

Haim, I'm not going to get into this too much because I don't understand the situation too well. I've heard that certain religious factions over in the ME believe that the second coming of Christ is the start of the new millenium in 2 months; of course it will happen in Isreal. Does this have anything to do with what's going on there? What's very ironic to me is the friend that told me this was from the area and this was about two years ago. He said at the start of the new millenium, there will be no way to avoid an all out war in the ME. To me, it now looks like there is going to be no way to avoid a war over there.
