WinFirst plans to deliver fiber deeper into the neighborhoods. They will do this by placing nodes closer to the user and then the signal will traverse the local coax. They expect to deliver 100mbps. Quoting ftth we seem to be rehashing these issues that have been buried for ages. How does WinFirst deliver 100 mbps over copper coax? (I think I asked this question about 300 posts ago.)
