Bush assumes most Americans have low IQ's and cannot see past his slogans. To a degree he is right, but three are a lot of people who do care and will get past his facade to look at the record. Bush has a weak record. esopecially compared to Gore.

The biggest lie of all was Bush's claim that people are double taxed under the estate tax.

Actually, I don't see how you can get past the belief that the estate tax represents double taxation on assets/income.

Any fool knows that if I make money as income or capital gains, I must pay the respective tax on my "ill gotten winnings" in this game of life.

But when I die, anything above -what is it?... $600,00 still?- is HEAVILY TAXED AGAIN!!

And if my inheritors opt to hold the asset and not sell it, paying off the taxes instead in cash, they have to pay a tax on that asset AGAIN!!

And this is just UTTER BS...

We pay our taxes during life... we accumulate some amount of wealth DESPITE those taxes. And then the government believes that they are entitled what I have accumulated?

The foolishness of Bush's plan is far too indicative of the man's low IQ.

Get real, and go look in a mirror pal.. You may claim you know something about law -according to your handle-, but you apparently need a little tutoring on economics, philosophy, and individual freedoms.
