Hello Milo, there is very little I find negative about AMD (except the chipset issue). What I'm frustrated with is market perception of AMD, and AMD is clueless as to how to handle it.

My point is that unless Jerry has GREAT things to say in November, AMD will stay in at $15-$30 price range until well into next year. Duron is killing AMD. And everywhere I've seen them, they are EXPENSIVE compared to PIII prices. Even in Duron is as good, NO ONE would buy one over a Pentium.

I expect the market to be generally healthy in Q4, and AMD to languish. Why would anyone feel the rush to buy stock? Same reason it dropped after last quarter. Just MHO, that my money will do much better in other places.

For the record, I will hold at least 500 shares of AMD no matter what I do. It could be a great buy and hold.

Regards,

Dave
