chic, The NSM warning really hurts, and (to me) gives the best evidence yet that there is a slow down in semi growth. However, AMD is a "special story". How long it takes to get the story out is the question. We will have the 760 and Mustang announcements in the next few weeks. On Nov 9th, we have the AMD analyst meeting. Due to the new disclosure rules, any material information given at this meeting will have to be accompanied by a press release or webcast or something like that. Then we get the 760, Mustang, and 760MP demos and hype from Comdex the next week. All this should help the stock. What does worry me is the lack of 1.1 and 1.2 Ghz at retail. Also, the Sunday ads were Intel only. Europe may have to save the quarter again. Pravin.
