Looks like the one sector that didn't tank - the opticals - may lead this next leg down. NT was a big miss.

Nortel Networks (NT) 63 5/16 -3 5/8: -- Update -- Disappointing forward sales forecast for Optical Internet segment of 30%-35% in 2001, down from the low 40's expected for the full year 2000; stock trading at 51 3/4.

Bobby, I think we sank deep in the hole in the woods somewhere... Nortel seems to have screwed the NAZ completely. Doesn't look like AMZN/CPQ can cure it. Add to it the tightening of the race and anti-business Gore can add to market malaise...
