The problem is Nortel. They missed the revenue estimates and thus the whacking of the NDX in the AH. CPQ is not a market mover; Nortel is. The optics gang are also getting slammed. This could be the time for a deflation of the PE of the optics stocks. Opportunities will arise out of this action, but it may take a while for the dust to settle.
