I gave him a company I have venture capital in - APOMYX; They have a patent pending on hybridization-derived plants; In July 2000, hybrid Tripsacum (produced from sexual plants) formed high frequency apomictic embryo sacs and fertile apomicitic seed. This directed high frequency expression is the first of its kind in history, a major breakthrough in the world of plant genetics. APOMYX uses the plants themselves to produce more, this process is different from genetic engineering.
