Tigerman, Fibre and networking was a "golden opportunity" few years ago...now,it may change to a real gold... With Nortel predicting 35% future grow and slow down in the economy...this sector is due to a pullback. I am close to networking and telecom and I have one observation...everyting connected to AT&T is slowly getting destroyed. AT&T bought ATHM...no results,bought the best internet search engine Excite...which is slowly dying, AT&T wanted to buy AOL....good,that it never happened...probably,we will not have AOL today. Next example LU (old part of AT&T)....they had to fire CEO, LU bought Ascend Comm...it was,one of the best net company .... LU bought Excel and just killed (discontinued products) the best SS7 switches.... It looks to me,that AT&T and LU are not able to succeed and the only way,they can survive is... to kill the best competition. Regards, el
