My guess is the optical stocks will be higher tomorrow then the levels they are all trading at now AH. The Naz futures down 82 right now is simply Wall St manipulation to try and create panic.

I don't expect JDSU to guide the street down on growth for 2001 like NT. JDSU may not be able to undo what NT did but it can sure help put a stop to all this FUD out there about the F/O components industry.

duke i hope you are right but if this drubbing is due to mere seasonality you would think that a sharp mngt team like nt's would have been able to characterize it as such

Duke,

We can discuss this forever, but there is 1 axiom than never fails. WS hates surprises.

They were surprised, I was surprised, and probably, so were you. What I heard on that CC was not what I expected.

So.......the moral is: Don't surprise us.

Unless they relinquish a little with some positive spin, tomorrow is going to hurt (based on what I read, see and hear now).

As I said on the NT thread, not 1 questioner, NOT 1 offered congratulations before asking a question.
