Lost in all the excitement of the NT miss was the API numbers...which were bullish for oil, BTW:

17:00 API POSTS 552,000-BARREL FALL IN LAST WEEK'S DISTILLATE STOCKS - BRIDGE NEWS
17:00 API POSTS 1.132 MILLION-BARREL FALL IN LAST WEEK'S GASOLINE STOCKS - BRIDGE NEWS

Estimates were crude +3.2-3.6 million bbl, HO +400,000-900,000, gasoline up 1.1-1.5 million.

EDIT: Apparently refiners are showing the strain of running full out virtually all year long. If a big one goes down now, we'll have some real chaos in these markets....
