zogby.com has Bush ahead by 2% as I write this. Where do you get your Zogby numbers?

Also, the sample size DOES make a difference. Flip a coin once and one side (heads or tails) will have a 100% score. Flip it 100 times and both heads and tails will be near 50%. 50% is the correct likelihood. Gallup polls 750 or so voters, Portrait of America (for example) polls 3000 - POA doesn't jump around (Bush ahead by 2-5% in the past 10 days), Gallup does (Bush ahead by 11% to Gore up by 1% in the past 10 days).

Battleground is a Democrat and Republican working together.

My consolidated poll is Battleground plus the 3 polls that did best predicting the primaries (Gallup, Zogby, Portrait of America). Combined, they say it's Bush by 4.9% right now.
