Never average down,
if you want to believe and be a LTBH person then that is your prerogative to hold stocks through thick and thin, personally I would not stand in front of this train. I may buy some SCMR shares tomorrow for a quick trade but that is all it will be. The market is telling us something if we chose to listen.

I'll second the view about not averaging down. Only one in a thousand people (if that many) can completely separate their feelings from their intellect. Among the bigger mistakes I've made through the years are averaging down and selling only part of a holding I'd lost trust in. A little introspection will show that subconsciously these are both mechanisms to avoid admitting you've made a mistake.
