Actually not a bear at all....hold substantial long positions, notably in ADI, (ouch) SUNW and QCOM. I just have a problem with stocks that run to unstainable levels, then watching as uninformed investors get left holding the bag. Most recently was the $140 price tag put on CMTN a few days before the warning.
We have all watched it time and time again.....trillions have been lost this year by investors listening to the drivel spouted by so called Wall Street experts. Analysts recommending a stock with a ridiculous price target, then 2 days or 2 weeks later the stock warns and drops 50%....happens all the time.
Is that not equally as criminal as that 15 year old who posted hype on message boards? That kid learned from the best...CNBC is creating a generation of young criminals just like him by perpetuating this fraud on TV, and making it seem so easy. Watching a stock like IARC run up 50% based on an analyst recommending it on TV makes me laugh, yet shows how easy it is to fool people.
Sorry to be such a cynic, but I have been trading for too many years to not see and observe what is either a massive amount of stupidity on Wall Street or something more akin to criminal fraud. Take your pick and place your bets. I wonder how long it will be before a shareholder lawsuit gets filed against one of the big houses for writing a report and recommendation which was at face value flawed and misleading.
