greenlaw4-7: During tomorrow's carnage, I am sticking to the most recognizable, top-quality names. I think they will bounce back hardest, highest and fastest, before the smaller players such as AVNX, FNSR, OPLK, NUFO, ONIS, etc.
I will be buying the tried-and-true: CIEN, AMCC, PMCS, SDLI, GLW, EXTR, NT. I already own a ton of JDSU (which is a LT hold from 1 1/2 years ago); otherwise, I would also be buying JDSU and SDLI.

Good evening, all! And hats off to greenlaw4-7, my friend. I've read all the posts so far tonight...

Only some trailing sell stops and some profitable liquidations (JNIC at 95, SPWX at 85, for example) kept me from losing the bulk of my 30% Thurs/Fri gains. Even still, I'll start tomorrow behind the 8-ball with most other tech longs.

Half full or half empty? How about 1/3 full? When we spike down and washout tomorrow or over the next 2-3 days there may be opportunities to grab stocks that will later appreciate 50-100%, imo. Partial position purchases as DO suggested in his caveat are the prudent way to go.

And I will take a close look at OPLK, g4-7, as well as the energies and oils you and DO listed. Thank you and congratulations again on an excellent call.

Best Regards,
Mark Konrad
